Peace be upon you,
Assalamu Alaikum,
Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share that our clubs will be on pause.
Today, we lost a dear brother in Islam and a close friend of my husband, who passed after a late-detected battle with terminal cancer. This loss has come as a strong reminder of life’s preciousness, encouraging us all to pause, reflect, and re-center ourselves on what truly matters.
In Islam, every loss is a reminder to refocus on the blessings around us—our family, our loved ones, and our own well-being. When someone returns to their Creator, we are reminded that our time here is finite, and it is essential to prioritize family bonds, self-love, and self-care. Each of these is a form of worship, a way to show gratitude for the life Allah has blessed us with.
During this time, my husband will be traveling to Pakistan for the funeral, and I will need to focus on managing things here with my health conditions, including fibromyalgia. It’s not always easy, but I know that embracing this period of rest and reflection is both necessary and healing. I urge each of you to take this time to nurture yourselves and strengthen the ties with those around you.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. I’ll keep you updated on when the clubs will resume, Insha’Allah.
May Allah grant our brother Imran Jannah and bring comfort to all who mourn him. Ameen.
With love and gratitude,
Tiah
Peace be upon you, dear friends,
Tonight, we received the sad news that our dear friend, Imran, has passed away. His family and loved ones are in our thoughts during this difficult time.
In Islam, we pray for the soul of the departed, asking Allah (God) to grant them peace and Jannah (paradise). We also come together as a community to support each other, especially during times of loss. One way we do this is by making dua (supplication) for them, and some of us may choose to contribute financially to help with funeral expenses or ongoing support for the family left behind.
For those who would like to help, a donation or sadaqah (charitable giving) is welcome and appreciated to help organise his funerals in Pakistan as he has no family in UK. Even a small contribution is meaningful and an act of kindness and love, which in Islam we believe brings blessings for both the giver and the one who has passed.
Thank you for your kindness, and may Imran’s soul find peace. Insha’Allah (God willing), he will be welcomed into Jannah. Ameen.
With love and gratitude,
Bilal & Tiah
