At the heart of my artistic journey lies Jewel(see page 18 of Art4Space's Annual review), the beacon whose guidance ignited my passion for textile art. Under her mentorship, I embarked on a transformative exploration of self-expression, culminating in a portfolio of five artworks that encapsulate my journey of self-discovery and interconnectedness with the world around me.
One such piece, initially conceived as "The Mystic Maiden Mother," has evolved into a new manifestation titled "Hand in Hand." This artwork represents a departure from the conventional narrative, inviting viewers to embrace a fresh perspective on human connection and unity.
In "Hand in Hand," intricate human figures crafted from delicately woven beads come together in a circle around the Earth, symbolizing the profound interconnectedness of humanity and our deeply rooted attachments to our planet and each other.
