Ramadan is the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with our Creator, and this year at The Arty-Crafty Crescent Club, we’re inviting you to join us for a special creative challenge:
Journaling the 99 Names of Allah
How It Works
Each day during Ramadan, we’ll focus on 3 of the Beautiful Names of Allah (Asmaul Husna). You can write them in a journal, decorate a page, add reflections, or create a mini artwork inspired by their meaning. Do this alone, with friends, or involve your children for a meaningful family activity.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist, a casual doodler, or just someone who loves to reflect through words, this challenge is for everyone!
Why the 99 Names?
The Names of Allah are more than words : they are windows into understanding who Allah is and how He interacts with us and the world. Learning them helps deepen our faith, grow our love for Allah, and strengthen our connection to Him in our daily lives.
For children, this activity is a gentle and creative way to introduce these divine attributes, helping them see Allah as Loving, Merciful, the All-Seeing, and more — building both knowledge and love for their faith.
Sharing the Journey
We’d love to see your pages, reflections, or artwork! Tag us in your posts or stories and use the hashtag:
Whether you share or do it once a week, every day, or just your personal favorite page, your creativity could inspire others to join in and reflect too.
Ideas to Get Started
Create a dedicated Ramadan Journal for this challenge.
Use watercolors, markers, or simple pens ~ however you like to express yourself.
Write the name in Arabic, its transliteration, and meaning.
Reflect: What does this Name mean to you? How can you live by it?
Involve your children ~ let them decorate pages or draw something linked to each Name’s meaning.
This is not about perfection ~ it only belongs to Allah~ it’s about connection, creativity, and community.
Let’s make this Ramadan beautifully meaningful, one Name at a time.
Are you in?
